We’ve changed up our group our class names and added a new option!  Please read the descriptions below to see where your dog would best fit and let us know if you have questions!  And YES – Group Classes are still $30 off for Puppy Preschool Graduates!

*NEW!!*  Composed Canines

The focus of this class is to create a state of mind change that encourages calmness while teaching basic skills.  As we work on your dog’s state of mind, they will learn sit, loose leash walking, down, stay, and come.  This class is recommended for the “average” puppy/dog as well as those who may be a bit more reactive or struggling with other behavioral issues.

  • Maximum of 4 dogs per class
  • Cost: $260 – includes class tool –  Transitional Leash ($30 value!)

  • Mondays at 7pm begins June 11th and ends July 23rd (skips June 25th) – 6 classes
  • Thursdays at 7pm begins August 23rd and ends September 27th – 6 classes
  • Wednesdays at 7pm begins October 10th and ends November 14th – 6 classes

 

Fundamentals
(Previously called Basic Obedience)

The focus of this class is to teach five basic commands: sit, stay, down, come, and heel.  We will also teach and address loose leash walking, how to stop jumping, and leave it.  The class is recommended for puppies and adult dogs who need help with the basics but aren’t struggling with major behavioral issues or major leash reactivity.

  • Maximum of 4 dogs per class
  • Cost $230 – includes standard training collar ($9 value!)

Off-Leash Fundamentals
(Previously called Advanced Obedience)

This class is for dogs who have completed our Fundamentals class and have become proficient at sit, stay, down, come, and heel while on a loose leash.  The course will focus on off-leash obedience and add in a few advanced commands such as place, finish, and commands in motion.  (If you would like to utilize an e-collar for off-leash work, it can be taught/used in this class.)

  • Maximum of 4 dogs per class
  • Cost $230 – includes training tab ($5-9 value!)
  • Future dates TBD by interest – likely Fall 2018

Fun & Fitness 1.0

Screen Shot 2018-05-22 at 12.11.14 PMWe’re excited to add a new class that’s just for fun!  In Fun & Fitness, we will teach some simple tricks, build confidence, work muscle groups, and enjoy doggy massage!

 

There is no prerequisite, but this class is intended for dogs 6 months and older who have some basic skills and manners.  If you aren’t sure if your dog would be a good fit for this class, give us a call to discuss!  Owners will have the option to use praise, toys, or food to motivate/reward.

Class is 3 weeks and costs $90.  Puppy Preschool graduates pay $75.
Class Dates: Thursdays – July 5th, July 12th, and July 26th at 6pm.

We will plan to offer additional versions of this course as the year progresses!

 

Buddy System

  • Don’t see a class that fits your schedule?  Try our buddy system!
    • Find a friend and pick a day of the week and time that work for you!   If possible, the class will be created, others will be invited to join, and you will receive a group class rate – even if it’s just the two of you!  All you have to do is have a buddy and stick to the six week schedule.

Cost: Same as regular group class – $230-$260
Requirements: Proof of distemper/parvo and rabies vaccinations.
